Terms of Use

1. The service

Navigate is a workforce engagement platform operated by Workforce Ascend. It provides participants with a Career Passport, career assessments, AI-powered career coaching and resume tools, and career-readiness resources, and provides sponsoring organizations with program management and reporting. These terms apply to everyone who uses a Navigate account. Organization agreements may add terms for sponsoring organizations; where an organization agreement conflicts with these terms for organization staff, the organization agreement governs.

2. Eligibility and accounts

Participant accounts are typically created through a sponsoring organization's enrollment or invitation. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

• Use Navigate only for lawful career, education, and workforce purposes.
• Do not enter another person's personal information without their knowledge.
• Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or data, disrupt the service, or probe its security.
• Do not misrepresent your identity, credentials, or employment history in a way intended to deceive employers or program staff.

4. AI Career Coach and Resume Tools

AI Career Coach and Resume Tools generate suggestions using artificial intelligence. They are career-support tools, not human counselors, and their output may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content — including resume content — before relying on it or submitting it to an employer. 5. No guarantee of outcomes

Navigate provides career-readiness tools and program support. Workforce Ascend does not guarantee employment, interviews, job offers, wages, promotions, credentials, or any particular career outcome.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the information and documents you add to Navigate, including your Career Passport and resume content. You grant Workforce Ascend and your sponsoring organization the permission needed to store, display, and process that content to operate the service and your program, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Our intellectual property

The Navigate platform, its design, curriculum, assessments, and materials are the property of Workforce Ascend and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use them through your account for their intended purpose only.

8. Third-party technology

Navigate relies on third-party infrastructure and AI providers, including the Lovable AI gateway and Google Gemini models, to deliver the service. Those providers' availability and terms may affect the service.

9. Service availability

We work to keep Navigate available and reliable but do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change as the platform evolves.

10. Suspension and termination

We or your sponsoring organization may suspend or end access for misuse, security concerns, or when your program enrollment ends. You may stop using Navigate at any time.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workforce Ascend’s total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to Navigate will not exceed the total fees paid by your sponsoring organization for Navigate in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to Navigate will be resolved in the courts located in the United States, unless a separate organization agreement provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We will post updated terms on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
