Privacy Policy
Navigate by Workforce Ascend
1. Scope
This policy applies to Navigate, the workforce engagement platform operated by Workforce Ascend, and to the accounts participants use through sponsoring organizations. This policy covers Navigate only. AI Workforce Alignment is a separate product with its own application and its own policies.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and account type, provided when an account is created or an organization enrolls you.
- Program information: the organization, cohort, and program you belong to, and your enrollment and progress records.
- Career Passport information you or program staff enter: career interests, goals, skills, credentials, work and education history, milestones, documents you upload, and a professional bio.
- Assessment responses: answers you give in career and AI-literacy assessments, and the resulting scores.
- Resume text you provide to Resume Tools, pasted or extracted in your browser from a file you choose. Uploaded resume files are read in your browser to extract the text; the file itself is not uploaded or stored.
- Questions you ask the AI Career Coach while the chat is open. Coach conversations are not saved in Navigate; they exist only on your screen for that session.
- Support and service requests you submit, including any attachments.
- Email delivery records (for example, whether an account email was sent) needed to operate the service.
3. How information is used
- To provide your account, program access, Career Passport, assessments, Resume Tools, and AI Career Coach.
- To let your sponsoring organization manage its program, see participant progress, and report outcomes.
- To generate AI-powered guidance grounded in your program record when you use the coach or resume review.
- To send account and program emails, and to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the platform.
4. AI processing
When you use AI Career Coach or Resume Tools, the text of your request is sent through the Lovable AI gateway to a Google Gemini model to produce a response. For the Career Coach, the request is grounded in your program record — your pathway, skills, credentials, readiness score, and open roles in your program — so guidance is specific to you. For Resume Tools, the resume text you provide is sent with your request. Conversations and resume text are not stored in Navigate after the response is returned. See the AI Transparency Notice for detail.
5. Organization-sponsored access
Most participant accounts are sponsored by an organization such as a workforce board or training provider. Program staff and organization administrators can view participant names, email addresses, enrollment and progress records, and individual Career Passport information for members of their cohorts, so they can support you and report program outcomes. A participant-facing summary is available in “How Navigate Uses Your Information,” provided during onboarding.
6. Service providers
We use a small set of providers strictly to operate Navigate:
- Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) for hosting, the database, sign-in, and file storage.
- The Lovable AI gateway and Google Gemini models for AI features.
- An email delivery provider (Resend, or an organization's own configured provider) for account and program emails.
We do not sell personal information. Navigate does not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
7. Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active and for one year after your account becomes inactive or your program ends, whichever is later. If a sponsoring organization’s agreement requires longer retention for program reporting, auditing, or legal obligations, we keep records for that required period. We may also keep data longer when necessary to comply with a legal hold or enforce our terms.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can view and edit your Career Passport information at any time from your account.
- You can share your Career Passport through a link you create, and revoke that link at any time.
- To correct account information, request a copy of your data, or request deletion of your account, contact your program staff or email us. Self-serve account deletion and export are not yet available in the app.
9. Security
Access to data is controlled by role-based rules enforced by the platform, so participants see only their own records and staff see only their own organization's participants. Sign-in is protected by email-and-password or Google authentication.
10. Children and youth
Navigate is designed for workforce program participants enrolled by sponsoring organizations. The minimum age and any parental- or guardian-consent requirements are set by the sponsoring organization and the program you join. Workforce Ascend does not knowingly enroll minors without appropriate organizational authorization.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post updates on this page and update the revision note when the policy changes materially.
